network local attributes to be added HTTP Client span

I am looking to add network.local.address & network.local.port attributes to a http client span. I am using Apache Async client. Although, the SemanticConventions mentions that these attributes can be opt-in, I didn't find any env value/config property to be set alongside OTEL java agent to start capturing this.

Have anyone comes across this and help me find that env var or if it is possible through env var?

hi @RashmiRam! I don't believe there is any instrumentation to capture these today. just curious about your use case for capturing them if you are able to share?

We are looking to capture these for efficient debugging of intermittent network related latency. The request passes through NAT gateway and logs from NAT includes the source address and source port which helps us narrow down the request for further debugging.
