We're starting to have more formal/structured events -- e.g., events at KubeCon, OTel Community Day, et. al. It would be good to have a dedicated sub-page on the Community nav for this, I think, where we can consolidate links to upcoming events (and also provide an RSS feed for upcoming ones?)

Makes sense. We have events showing up the the site's RSS feed already via announcements, e.g.:
