Hi maintainers 👋

I wanted to ask whether OpenAI (or the OpenAI SDK / Agents SDK project) is planning to participate in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) in an upcoming cycle.

Specifically, I’m curious:
Whether OpenAI plans to apply as a GSoC organization.If SDK-related projects (such as Agents SDK, tooling, or documentation) might be proposed. If there’s a recommended way for interested students to follow updates or prepare in advance.

Thanks for your interest in the project! At the moment, we do not have any plans for this SDK project to participate in upcoming GSoC cycles. That said, if you are interested in contributing to or exploring the ideas implemented in this SDK, we are always happy to welcome contributions and hope the experience is helpful for your learning.
