OSI board candidate

Hi all,

I was thinking of running for the board of OSI. I can do so as either an individual or affiliate of OpenJS.

Would the collab space be willing to support my candidacy if I ran as OpenJS affiliate?

The election closes on Feb 17, so I would need an answer by next week.

Could you make a case for how it would benefit the OpenJS community to be represented on the OSI Board?

Board members aren't representing who nominates them. They act in a personal capacity. However, close collaboration between the OSI, OpenJS, and ORC WG, at a moment in time where regulation is directly impacting the ecosystem seems like a net benefit to the foundation and the JS community.
