Use Control+L, or / Unfortunately we have no control over the appearance of this dialog, it's not part of the file manager, but part of the graphical toolkit many apps use (Gtk). |

Thanks for the information. None of those shortcuts work. ALT+L used to work on the prev mint release i think |

I think that, since many apps are now using the portal, it would be possible to use Nemo to implement a file chooser. That would also bring other good features such as real context menus, icon view and so on. |

I realy miss beeing able to paste a path in a file open dialog.
We should also bee able to show location entry by pressing a button with the mouse where marked red in image bellow.

i have found a shortcut for this before (ALT+L or similar) but can not get anything to work now. I'm on mint 22.3 at the moment
I use this alot when working in terminal and want to save something to the same location..
