just discovered Postalserver today.
I would like to send Postals own E-Mail (e.g. Password Resets, etc.) through itself.

Ho do I configure that inside Postal as well as in the Config-Files?

The parameters are under the smtp header in the config file, not to be confused with smtp_server

You can configure that inside Postal itself as you would any other sending, as long as the from address is using a domain that your chosen Postal credential can use then it should be fine.

Just to be sure; short example: Hostname of Server: s0.postalserver.eu So inside Postal it would be possible/allowed to have: Org: Local Mailserver: s0.postalserver.eu Domain under Mailserver: s0.postalserver.eu; with allow all Senders from Domain?! Additionally to get E-Mails from Host-Server like roots-E-Mails: One could use msmtp (https://marlam.de/msmtp/) on Host to send all Host-Mail (e.g. root@s0.postalserver.eu) through Postal itself?!

I think you could do that if you wanted, it depends entirely on how you want to structure your setup, split up the messages into different servers to fence off each client or project from each other etc etc.

I think msmtp would work with Postal quite nicely, as long as you get your From address handled correctly with it then it should be fine.
