Thanks for bringing this up! This is likely a case of bit-rot, probably when the README.me was created those additional Fedora variants did not exist and have been added over time. Since different atomic desktop variants are likely to continue being added and removed, we should probably update the README.md to:

  • Keep the references to Fedora CoreOS and Fedora IoT as-is, since these are distinct subprojects.
  • Remove the entries for Fedora Silverblue and Fedora Kinoite
  • Add a new catch-all entry for Fedora Atomic Desktops which links to https://fedoraproject.org/atomic-desktops/

This way we'll transitively pick up changes to the Atomic Desktop lineup.
