Define "ensemble"

The FAQ page at https://path-cc.io/services/credit-accounts/#what-workloads-run-well-on-path-resources frequently uses the word ensemble but does not define it.

The Glossary page at https://path-cc.io/glossary/ does not define ensemble either.

This language is lifted nearly as is into NSF solicitations.
This leads to confusion about what exactly ensemble is supposed to mean.
For example, see the NSF CSSI solicitation:

• Ideally: a short definition is included in the corresponding FAQ section
• Minimal: a definition is included in the Glossary page

It would also be good to provide an example of what is meant by ensemble versus batch or cluster.
