Lexical is just a pain in the ass! Why not sticking with slate?

Often when I update payload I get conflict or weird errors in the lexical editor. Maybe is because pnpm, maybe is because i'm using a monorepo, or maybe is the fact that I have to install lexical locally for a custom plugin.
The solution is always to delete all node_modules and package lock and reinstall everything, but for me this is not accettable.

Why not sticking with slate? what has lexical more to offer other than headaches?

I bet you installed lexical dependency with @payloadcms/richtext-lexical, but you need only @payloadcms/richtext-lexical, it exports lexical from @payloadcms/richtext-lexical/lexical
