Downloader revamp

Here we can discuss on where the downloader plugin is lacking, what features you'd like to see in it, and general ideas about the downloader.

UI

There is no central place to see all your downloads (if you can even have multiple downloads at once).
Would be nice if you could manage existing downloads, like rename/delete/redownload/etc all from the same place.

Quality Picker

There is no quality/format picker, everything is in the config, which makes it a pain when you don't always want the configured settings.

Metadata Editor

There is no built-in way to edit track metadata after it's been downloaded, it would probably be a nice addition having such functionality built-in.

From my perspective this seems out of scope. This is primarily a ytmusic client, it should do that and build features around the streaming service. The download add-in is absolutely in scope and it should add as much information as it can get to the metadata.
But there are more than enough capable offline-music player to maintain and organize music collections and it's metadata.

Sorry I don't mean to be harsh, but I think it's better to keep a focus. :)

You are overthinking it, I am talking about stuff like changing the title/artist of a song, nothing more than that.
We already have a library to edit metadata, it is just used internally and not exposed to the user in any way.

Play offline downloads

This may be out of scope, but if possible, it would be nice to play downloaded tracks directly from YTM.
If it's not possible, then it would be nice to at least support it in the "offline" mode, named Error.html
