is there another way to hold atom state on page refresh insted of using atomWithStorage

I'm wondering if there is another way of holding the values in the atom on a page refresh? atomWithStorage won't work for me because I have PII information that I can't put in local storage which is one of the reasons I'm using Jotai.

It doesn't sound like atomWithHash in jotai-location works either, does it?

It's pretty common to persist state in URL or localStorage (or other storage) to keep it for page refresh.

After researching this topic I see Redux and all other state management libraries store in local or session storage. I think session is what I'll need to use. If you could be so kind as to share an example of how to use the atomWithStorage utilizing sessionStorage. Your documentation doesn't show an example. Thank you for clearing this up for me.
