Jest: Must call super constructor in derived class before accessing 'this'

I'm having trouble running tests that use react-spring. Getting the following error:

ReferenceError: Must call super constructor in derived class before accessing 'this' or returning from derived constructor

       102 |   const [ref, { height }] = useMeasure({ polyfill: ResizeObserver });

The component is fairly straight forward:

import { useSpring, animated } from "@react-spring/web";

// ...

  // returns true or false
  const open = isOpen(id);

  // measures size
  const [ref, { height }] = useMeasure({ polyfill: ResizeObserver });

  const props = useSpring({
    height: open ? height : 0,
  });

My Jest config looks like this:

Any ideas what it could be? I've never seen this before.
