Release of version 3.2.0?

Hi, any idea when the next version of PnP.PowerShell (version 3.2.0) will be released? My customer is waiting for a fix which is already part of the nightly releases, but he could not use nightlys and is waiting for the next version.

hey @malauter , sorry for the delay. We are kinda stuck with getting a new release out due to issue with the certificates that we use for signing. We hope to get it out sometime in November at the earliest.

Same questions here - we have lots of code elements that work on nightly builds - but not 3.1.0

@gautamdsheth any news? the nightly build has a lot of features that are crucial for us to migrate away from SPO and finally be able to update to PS7

hey @MichaMican , sorry for the delays . We were blocked from a release to due unavailability of certificate from Microsoft. So, we joined .NET foundation and have got access to some certificate signing related infra, hoping for a release super soon, within 1-2 weeks I think unless there's some major issues related to signing.

@gautamdsheth does this process also apply to PnP Core and Framework? Is there a similar expectation of releases for those in the near future?

The release for Core and Framework would be done along with the PowerShell release, we are still figuring out a way for that. PowerShell is still blocked as we are facing some certificate related issues unfortunately from .NET foundation.

ok thx, but I think I'm not the only one looking for a bit more info here...are these issues (5+ months on) looking like they are resolvable? And if so, in what sort of time frame? Or are we in a really don't know situation? I hope you understand how tricky it has become for organisations using PnP to decide what to do next, we could really do with more visibility. And if other people are needed to help in some way, I expect they can be found.
