In our current setup, we are using Expo with prebuild, which means that we cannot modify the Podfile directly.

✅ Solution for Expo Bare Workflow
I successfully resolved the CTweetNacl dependency error in Expo Bare Workflow by creating an Expo Config Plugin that automatically adds the required Podfile configuration during expo prebuild.

🔧 Solution Steps:

1. Create Expo Config Plugin
   Create file plugins/withPodfileModifications.js:

Is the repo abandoned? This is a major issue (app can't start with the dependency installed) with no contributor input whatsoever in more than a month.
