Temperature Sensor support — Sensors visible in Alarm.com dashboard, not exposed in Home Assistant #523

@greavette

Description

@greavette

Which device would you like us to support?
Temperature sensors. I have multiple standalone temperature sensors actively reporting readings on my Alarm.com web dashboard and mobile app.

These appear under a "Temperature Monitoring" section on my Alarm.com dashboard with green status indicators and live readings. I've attached a screenshot showing all four sensors reporting normally.
I see that temperature sensors are listed under "Help Wanted" in the README. I'm happy to assist with testing, metadata dumps, and any further debugging needed to help build support for this device type.
Where does this device appear in the Alarm.com mobile app?
The temperature sensors appear in two places:

On the main dashboard under a dedicated "Temperature Monitoring" card/section
Under the Sensors section,

alarmdotcom-dump-raw.txt
alarmdotcom-dump-redacted.txt

alongside motion detectors, door/window contacts, etc.

Each sensor displays a real-time temperature reading in degrees. The sensors also appear to have status indicators (green checkmark when operating normally).
What types of actions does this device support?
Read-only. These are passive temperature sensors that report:

Current temperature reading (in degrees)
Sensor status (normal / alert)
Likely battery level (standard for wireless sensors)

No user-controllable actions — they are monitoring-only devices.
Which provider do you use?
Regional security provider in Ontario, Canada. I prefer not to disclose the exact provider publicly, but I'm happy to share via private message with maintainers if it would help with debugging.
