How to get sequence number (seqno) of images?

I am using get_bboxlog to get the sequence in which these commands are executed.
My focus is text, drawings and images.
To map seqno of text I use get_texttrace to get seqno of text
To map seqno of drawings I use get_drawings which itself gives seqno
These seqno exactly matchs with get_bboxlog

Only thing which is left is images. Help?
I want seqno of images as well that I can map/bind with get_bboxlog and arrange to get appropriate z-index of text, drawings and images in a page

There is no way to supply sequence numbers to images in that way. Images are extracted as part of .get_text("dict") (or "rawdict") in the order of appearing in the page contents however.

All you can do is comparing the image block bbox with the bboxes in bboxlog.

@JorjMcKie Yes. I had already worked the way you suggested but there are often times were bboxlog shows that there is an image in sequence but get_images doesnot reflect that. Plus there is quite possibility that bboxlog of multiple images are same. This way I think there will always be a possibility that PDF will fail.
