bug: Duplicate Entry into Database

Current Behavior

I suddenly noticed that my expenses were much higher than they should be. Unable to figure out where I had spent so much money, I exported a CSV file to my computer for a deeper analysis. After spending quite a bit of time, I finally noticed that some expenses had been entered twice!

However, the app doesn’t document this issue in any way. In the first tab, those expenses appear only once. In the second tab (Insights), they are also shown once. In the Budgets tab, they are listed once as well! Yet, in the overall Net Totals, they are being counted twice in the expenses.

Additionally, when I manually deleted one of the duplicated entry from the Insights tab, they still remained. So, I exported the CSV file again and found that it had only deleted one of the duplicate entries, essentially fixing it for that entry. But as you can see, without knowing which entry was duplicated by analyzing with my computer, It wouldnt be able to find the problem and this bug needs fixing.

Expected Behavior

Dont entry the values twice!

I had a similar issue with scheduled entries.
I noticed it by using the "overall budget" widget on my homescreen.

Seconding the "scheduled entries" assessment. I fixed my duplicate entries problem by stopping all scheduled/recurring entries.

It didn't happen with all recurring entries, but I never figured out what was special about the ones that did duplicate. My hunch was that it was ones that I might have edited (or even just opened to edit but made no changes). But I never confirmed that.
