Let's say I have only one workspace open - and it's running alacritty. If I then open a new app - for example, Zed editor - and use the key binding for hyprtasking - the new workspace will be shown as empty until I move to it. After which it will always show the app running in it.
I this screenshot I've done exactly as mentioned above. The workspace on the left is running Zed, but it isn't shown until I move to that workspace. After that it's always shown in the workspace "list". This is the same for any apps and also for grid view.
