[Bug]: UNRAID installed as per script doesnt show any docker containers in the docker tab

Describe the bug

I have installed Pulse as per the default script but the containers running on this host dont show in the Pulse Docker tab.

To reproduce

Open docker tab.

Expected behavior

I expect to see Unraid listed as a host within the docker tab. as per my screenshot where my other host is running.

Host telemetry is arriving from HomeUNRAID, so this is the Docker module specifically rather than the agent as a whole.

Unraid puts the agent log somewhere non-obvious, which is why you could not find it. It is at /var/log/pulse-agent/pulse-agent.log, with the supervisor at /var/log/pulse-agent-watchdog.log.

Post these two and I can tell you where it is stopping.

The first shows whether --enable-docker made it into the running command, the second shows which socket it resolved. #1647 is a different shape, that was a rootless Podman socket outranking system Docker on Debian, and Unraid has no rootless Podman for it to find, but the same output rules it in or out.

"Missing scope" / "required scope" seems to be related to the authorizations at the API level.
It should be fine by default but....
Could you check there and report what you have?

The two lines from pgrep are the giveaway: the same Unraid state directory is being driven by two watchdog generations, one with the old arguments and one with the later Proxmox/commands arguments. In 6.1.2, reinstalling on Unraid stopped the child process without first stopping its wrapper, so that wrapper could immediately resurrect the old command. d7d6753d0 corrects the installer ordering for the next release.

The 403s are separate. The token stored at /boot/config/plugins/pulse-agent/token has neither docker:report nor agent:exec, and an existing agent token cannot be widened. Generate a new command through Settings → Infrastructure → Add infrastructure → Unraid. Open Advanced connection and install options before copying it; enable Pulse command execution there only if you want Patrol actions. The newly minted host token will include Docker reporting.

Before running that command on 6.1.2, stop the surviving wrappers first, then their children:

I'm sorry, I'm still getting the errors but the containers are now showing in pulse, although the host is showing as offline....

That pgrep shows the first generation process resurrected with the old arguments, so the old token is still in use and the missing_scope 403s will continue. On 6.1.2 the installer stops the agent before its wrapper, and a surviving wrapper can bring the old generation straight back. d7d6753 fixes the ordering in the next release.

On 6.1.2 the sequence has to run in order:

then straight away run a freshly generated command from Settings > Infrastructure > Add infrastructure > Unraid. Once it finishes, post pgrep -a pulse-agent and the last few docker lines of /var/log/pulse-agent/pulse-agent.log. The pass state is one process carrying the new arguments and no further missing_scope entries, and the offline host row should recover on the next report cycle.
