Seems similar to eclipse-jdtls/eclipse.jdt.ls#2484 . I suspect they're currently just in sorted order.

Just to clarify, do you expect the most recently used member, or the closest members to the cursor location ?

There is editor.suggestSelection which can be set to recentlyUsed and will pre-select in the completion list, the item that was recently used.

Otherwise, yes, I think we'll investigate a way to prioritize results by their usage.
