Java Formatter: ignore org.eclipse.jdt.core.formatter.continuation_indentation property value

The formatter for java projects seems to ignore the property

Whatever value you set it always uses 2 as the indentation value.

Do you have a sample of the code that is being ignored and specifically how you are configuring the option ? I think the continuation indentation only applies to expressions that would have some kind of whitespace between the tokens. In other words separating tokens

Here's a sample file I used for my testing :

Formatter.java

Using java.format.settings.url

(I did notice that setting the version to '23' (latest) was important. My guess is that we keep some kind of compatibility with older versions) and maybe there were issues there.

Using java.settings.url

(yes, this actually works, and is pretty convenient)
