This is still an issue, it looks like a defunct process is created everytime the git sync fails, Environment:

After further investigation it would appear that this is most likely an issue with how Wiki.js is using / configuring simple-git, this type of issue has been previously reported steveukx/git-js#590 with the fix being to utilise the Timeout Plugin to kill the git process when it has stopped responding, as timeouts could occur under normal operation an alternative solution would be to setup an AbortController to ensure the git process has exited after a success or failure. |

I have the same issue, even with the latest The backend storage is Git. I've tried both SSH and HTTPS with the same result. Git processes stay as zombies until the PID limit is reached. The init solution in docker-compose.yml worked for me, too (along with recreating the container after). It'd be nice if the example docker-compose file at https://docs.requarks.io/install/docker mentioned/included that because these zombie processes eventually stop rendering from working (and the whole thing could be avoided upfront). |

I noticed that after configuring the git repository, zombie processes started appearing on the server. Restarting the container removes the zombie processes.
