FGR221 Roller Shutter Controller

This describes the Z-Wave device FGR221, manufactured by Fibargroup with the thing type UID of fibaro_fgr221_00_000.

The device is in the category of Blinds, defining Roller shutters, window blinds, etc..

The FGR221 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.

Switch All Mode Set the mode for the switch when receiving SWITCH ALL commands

Parameter 1: Enable/Disable ALL ON/OFF

Activate/Deactive ALL ON/OFF

The following option values may be configured -:

-1 ALL ON active / ALL OFF active
0 ALL ON disabled/ ALL OFF disabled
1 ALL ON disabled/ ALL OFF active
2 ALL ON active / ALL OFF disabled

The manufacturer defined default value is 255.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_1_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 10: Control key #2 behaviour

Turning off the shutter positioning function

The following option values may be configured -:

0 Turning on the shutter positioning function - Default
1 Turning off the shutter positioning function

The manufacturer defined default value is 0 (Turning on the shutter positioning function - Default).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_10_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 14: Inputs Button/Switch configuration

Binary inputs type configuration

The following option values may be configured -:

0 Mono-stable input (button)
1 Bi-stable input (switch)
2 Single Mono-stable switch

The manufacturer defined default value is 0 (Mono-stable input (button)).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_14_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 20: Dimmer/Roller shutter control

Options for changing parameter 1-99, default 16

Values in the range 0 to 255 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 16.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_20_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 30: General Alarm

The following option values may be configured -:

2 CLOSED SHUTTER ALARM

The manufacturer defined default value is 2 (CLOSED SHUTTER ALARM).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_30_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 31: Alarm of flooding with water

The manufacturer defined default value is 0 (DEACTIVATION).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_31_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 32: Smoke, CO, CO2 Alarm.

Set for the roller shutter.

The following option values may be configured -:

The manufacturer defined default value is 1 (OPEN SHUTTER ALARM).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_32_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 33: Temperature Alarm

The manufacturer defined default value is 1 (OPEN SHUTTER ALARM).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_33_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 41: Scene activation functionality

Only valid for the 1.9 version of FGR221. The device offers the possibility of sending commands compatible with Command class scene activation. Information is sent to devices assigned to association group no. 3. The following option values may be configured -:

0 Deactivation of functionality - Default
1 Activation of functionality

The manufacturer defined default value is 0 (Deactivation of functionality - Default).

This parameter has the configuration ID config_41_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Switch All Mode

Set the mode for the switch when receiving SWITCH ALL commands.

The following option values may be configured -:

Value Description
0 Exclude from All On and All Off groups
1 Include in All On group
2 Include in All Off group
255 Include in All On and All Off groups

This parameter has the configuration ID switchall_mode and is of type INTEGER.

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.

The FGR221 supports 3 association groups.

Group 1: Group 1

Association group 1 supports 16 nodes.

Group 2: Group 2

Association group 2 supports 16 nodes.

Group 3: Controller Updates

Association group 3 supports 1 node.
