HKZW-SO05 - ZWave |

This describes the Z-Wave device HKZW-SO05, manufactured by Hank with the thing type UID of hank_so05_00_000
.
The HKZW-SO05 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
Smart plug is a Z-Wave Switch plugin module specifically used to enable Z-Wave command and control (on/off) of any plug-in tool. It can report wattage consumption or kWh energy usage. Smart Plug is also a security Z-Wave device and supports the Over The Air (OTA) feature for the product's firmware upgrade.
HKZW-SO05 is a Smart Plug based on Z-Wave plus specification

Automatic Z-Wave network inclusion:

Set the Z-Wave network main controller into inclusion mode.

Insert the Plug into a socket.

Auto-inclusion will be activated, i.e. Plug automatically starts looking for Z-Wave network controller. Auto-inclusion activation is signaled by a single, RGB LED indicator blink fast in blue.

Smart Plug should be recognized and automatically included into the Z-Wave network.
Manual Z-Wave network inclusion:

Connect the power supply.

Set the Z-Wave network main controller into inclusion mode.

Triple click the Z-button, RGB LED indicator should blink fast in blue.

Smart Plug should be recognized and included into the Z-Wave network.
Included as a secure device:

Connect the power supply.
-
Set the Z-Wave network main controller into secure inclusion mode.
-
Press and hold the Z-button for more than 3 seconds, RGB LED indicator should blink fast in green.

Smart Plug should be recognized and included into the Z-Wave security network.
To remove Smart Plug from the Z-Wave network:

Insert the plug into a socket.

Set the Z-Wave network main controller into exclusion mode.

Triple click the Z-button.

RGB LED indicator will blink orange till the removing process is completed, then the indicator will keep orange for 3 seconds.

Power threashold for when to send reports to associated devices When the change value of the load power exceeds the threshold, the meter report is send to associated devices. 0 -- The function is disabled. Values in the range 0 to 65535 may be set.
The manufacturer defined default value is 50

Percentage threshold for when to send report to associated devices When the change value of the load power exceeds the threshold, the meter report is send to associated devices.
0 -- The function is disabled. Values in the range 0 to 255 may be set.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The HKZW-SO05 supports 1 association group.
The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation. Meter, Basic etc.
Association group 1 supports 5 nodes.
