ZHC5010 FUGA Wall 4-way Switch with LED + Relay

This describes the Z-Wave device ZHC5010, manufactured by Logic Home Control with the thing type UID of logic_zhc5010_00_000. This version of the device is limited to firmware versions below 1.12

The device is in the category of Wall Switch, defining Any device attached to the wall that controls a binary status of something, for ex. a light switch.

The ZHC5010 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.

Overview

ZHC5010 is a wall switch module with Z-Wave communication. The module contains four buttons, four LEDs, a built-in relay switch and is designed to fit into a standard LK FUGA® wall box (one-module format). The ZHC5010 Wall Switch allows you to control the local load as well as Z-Wave connected devices in up to four additional Z-Wave groups.

Inclusion Information

Place your primary controller in Adding Mode by following the manufacturer's instructions, then activate the add mode on the device by triple-clicking the upper left button on the module, or by triple-clicking the little button in the middle of the module (hidden behind the small plastic cover). Adding Mode is indicated by blinking of upper left LED until the timeout occurs after 10 seconds or the module has been added in the network. 

Exclusion Information

Follow the inclusion procedures; the device is removed in the same manner, when the controller is in Removing Mode.

Factory reset:
ZHC5010 can be factory reset by pressing the small button in the middle of the module (normally covered by small plastic cover) for at least 10 seconds. Remove the middle plastic cover by means of a small screwdriver, and press the small button for at least 10 seconds, until all the LEDs lights up. Please use this procedure only when the network primary controller is missing or otherwise inoperable.

Switch

Switch the power on and off.

The switch_binary channel supports the Switch item and is in the Switch category.

Dimmer

The brightness channel allows to control the brightness of a light. It is also possible to switch the light on and off.

The switch_dimmer channel supports the Dimmer item and is in the DimmableLight category.

Scene Number

Triggers when a scene button is pressed.

The scene_number channel supports the Number item. This channel provides the scene, and the event as a decimal value in the form <scene>.<event>. The scene number is set by the device, and the event is as follows -:

The switch_binary1 channel supports the Switch item and is in the Switch category.

Dimmer 1

The brightness channel allows to control the brightness of a light. It is also possible to switch the light on and off.

The switch_dimmer1 channel supports the Dimmer item and is in the DimmableLight category.

Switch 2

Dimmer 2

Parameter 1: Upper paddle buttons mode

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 50.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_7_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 8: Percentage of light in the LED #2 when On

Configure the percentage of light in LED # 2, when the LED is turned on.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 50.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_8_1 and is of type INTEGER. This is a read only parameter.

Parameter 9: Percentage of light in the LED #3 when On

Configure the percentage of light in LED # 3, when the LED is turned on.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 50.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_9_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 10: Percentage of light in the LED #4 when On

Configure the percentage of light in LED #4, when the LED is turned on.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 50.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_10_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 11: Percentage of light in the LED #1 when Off

Configure the percentage of light in LED # 1, when the LED is turned off.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_11_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 12: Percentage of light in the LED #2 when Off

Configure the percentage of light in LED # 2, when the LED is turned off.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_12_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 13: Percentage of light in the LED #3 when Off

Configure the percentage of light in LED #3, when the LED is turned off.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_13_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 14: Percentage of light in the LED #4 when Off

Configure the percentage of light in LED #4, when the LED is turned off.

Values in the range 0 to 100 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_14_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 15: Relay mode

How built-in relay is controlled This parameter configures which of the buttons that shall control the built-in relay, or if the relay only will be activated for one second, each time button #1 is used. The following option values may be configured -:

Parameter 16: Indicator mode.

set the current light level for the actual LED or the level value can be stored When ZHC5010 receives an Indicator Set message, then the received value can be used only to set the current light level for the actual LED or the level value can be stored and will then be used for subsequent internal activations.  The following option values may be configured -:

Parameter 17: Scene notification offset.

Scene sequence numbers transmitted by Central Scene notifications. Configure the scene sequence numbers that will be transmitted by Central Scene notifications.

Button #1 will send scene [value], button #2 will send scene [value] + 1, button #3 will send scene [value] + 2, button #4 will send scene [value] + 3. (Default = 1) The following option values may be configured -:

This parameter has the configuration ID config_17_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 18: Disable House Cleaning.

Disable House Cleaning Mode. This parameter is able to enable or disable the so-called “House Cleaning Mode”, where ZHC5010 is able send a dimming command in order to set the level of the lights to 100%. The following option values may be configured -:

0 House Cleaning Mode is enabled
1 1 House Cleaning Mode is disabled.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0 (House Cleaning Mode is enabled).

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.

The ZHC5010 supports 17 association groups.

Group 1: Lifeline

The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation.

Association group 1 supports 1 node.

Group 2: Send Basic Report (On/Off) when button #1 is used.

Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.

Group 3: Sends Basic Set (On/Off) when button #1 is used.

Association group 3 supports 5 nodes.

Group 4: Binary Switch Set btn #1
