MH8-FC - ZWave |
{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device MH8-FC, manufactured by McoHome Technology Co., Ltd with the thing type UID of mcohome_mh8fc_00_000
.
The device is in the category of HVAC, defining Air condition devices, Fans.
The MH8-FC supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
MCOHome Fan Coil Thermostat is a Z-Wave enabled device for indoor temperature control. It is mainly applied to a 4-pipe Fan coil system. It can read room temperature and local time, and automatically control fan speed based on the temperature difference. The device is of high reliability and practicability. This product can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from any other manufacturers.
Features:
- Capacitive touch buttons
- Tempered glass panel, PC alloy enclosure
- Precise temperature calibration function

Safety Information
To protect yourself and others from danger and to protect the device from damage, please read the safety information before using it.
Including of Z-Wave network
Under the shutdown state, press & hold "Down Arrow" to enter interface for inclusion or exclusion of Z-Wave network.
Before device included into network, “- - -” will display on the screen. Then press once "Down Arrow", device will enter learning mode to get a node ID. If inclusion is success, a node ID will display on the screen in a few seconds.
A node ID can always inform us whether the device is in the network or not.
Excluding of Z-Wave network
Under the shutdown state, press & hold "Down Arrow" to enter interface for inclusion or exclusion of Z-Wave network.
Before device included into network, “- - -” will display on the screen. Then press once "Down Arrow", device will enter learning mode to get a node ID. If inclusion is success, a node ID will display on the screen in a few seconds.
A node ID can always inform us whether the device is in the network or not.

The device has no configuration parameters defined.
Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The MH8-FC supports 1 association group.
The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation. For sending temperature, working mode, etc. notifications
Association group 1 supports 1 node.
