{% include base.html %}
This describes the Z-Wave device MH-S513, manufactured by McoHome Technology Co., Ltd with the thing type UID of mcohome_mhs513_00_000
.
The device is in the category of Wall Switch, defining Any device attached to the wall that controls a binary status of something, for ex. a light switch.
The MH-S513 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is also able to participate in the routing of data between other devices in the mesh network.
Touch Panel Switch is a wall panel built-in with Z-Wave Plus module. With its stylish design and stable performance, the panel can be used to control house-hold electrical appliances like lamp, motor, coffee machine, TV set etc. It supports basic command class, multi channel command class and multi channel association command class, also works as a repeater in a Z-Wave network. This product can be included and operated in any Z-Wave network with other Z-Wave certified devices from any other manufacturers.
INCLUDING the device into Z-Wave network:
-
Set controller into INCLUSION mode. Follow instructions provided by controller manufacturer.
-
Press and hold any key on the panel for 8 seconds or 3 clicks in quick succession.
Note: If inclusion is successful, all INDICATION LEDs on the panel will flash 4 times.
EXCLUDING the device from Z-Wave network:
-
Set controller into EXCLUSION mode. Follow instructions provided by controller manufacturer.
-
Press and hold any key on the panel for 8 seconds or 3 clicks in quick succession.
Note: If the exclusion is successful, all INDICATION LEDs on the panel will flash 4 times. The exclusion will delete all association data.

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.
The MH-S513 supports 4 association groups.
The Lifeline association group reports device status to a hub and is not designed to control other devices directly. When using the Lineline group with a hub, in most cases, only the lifeline group will need to be configured and normally the hub will perform this automatically during the device initialisation. Associate with gateway Send unsolicited reports to the gateway
Association group 1 supports 1 node.
Associate with Key 1 send Basic Set Command to associated devices
Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.
Associate with Key 2 if any send Basic Set Command to associated devices
Association group 5 supports 5 nodes.
Associate with Key 3 if any send Basic Set Command to associated devices
Association group 8 supports 5 nodes.
