hmdm100 Doorlock Control Module for Samsung Locks

This describes the Z-Wave device hmdm100, manufactured by Samsung SDS with the thing type UID of samsungsds_hmdm100_00_000.

The device is in the category of Lock, defining Devices whose primary pupose is locking something.

The hmdm100 supports routing. This allows the device to communicate using other routing enabled devices as intermediate routers. This device is unable to participate in the routing of data from other devices.

Door Lock

Lock and unlock the door.

The lock_door channel supports the Switch item and is in the Door category. The following state translation is provided for this channel to the Switch item type -:

Battery Level

Represents the battery level as a percentage (0-100%). Bindings for things supporting battery level in a different format (e.g. 4 levels) should convert to a percentage to provide a consistent battery level reading.

The battery-level channel supports the Number item and is in the Battery category.

Device Configuration

The following table provides a summary of the 4 configuration parameters available in the hmdm100. Detailed information on each parameter can be found in the sections below.

Parameter 1: Security Function

  • 0x02 : Command for disable which is set by platform of Samsung SDS. After setting, if you try to get value of Security Function , '0x00' will be reported.

  • 0x03 : Command for enable which is set by platform of Samsung SDS. After setting, if you try to get value of Security Function, '0x01' will be reported.

  • 0x04 : 'Request for Enable' command which is reported by Doorlock. This cannot be set. (8th function in manual)

  • 0x05 : If the request for 'Request for Enable' command is failed in platform, this will be set by platform of Samsung SDS. Values in the range 0 to 5 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_1_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 2: Privacy Mode

0=Disable 1=Enable 0=Disable 1=Enable Values in the range 0 to 1 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 0.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_2_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Parameter 3: Registered User ID

The number of registered user codes.2 The number of registered user codes.

This parameter is supported to ‘Configuration Get Command’ only. Values in the range 1 to 130 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 1.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_3_1 and is of type INTEGER. This is a read only parameter.

Parameter 10: Platform

0=Common 1=Samsung SDS 0=Common 1=Samsung SDS

This value set by platform after device connected with platform of Samsung SDS. Values in the range 0 to 1 may be set.

The manufacturer defined default value is 1.

This parameter has the configuration ID config_10_1 and is of type INTEGER.

Lock Timeout

Sets the time after which the door will auto lock.

This parameter has the configuration ID doorlock_timeout and is of type INTEGER.

Association Groups

Association groups allow the device to send unsolicited reports to the controller, or other devices in the network. Using association groups can allow you to eliminate polling, providing instant feedback of a device state change without unnecessary network traffic.

The hmdm100 supports 2 association groups.

Group 1: Group1

Association group 1 supports 5 nodes.

Group 2: Group2

Association group 2 supports 5 nodes.
