No video files created

I just started playing with Viseron and I guess I'm doing something wrong, but the docs are not too clear on that. I configured one camera (so far my USB webcam) and trying to get motion detection.

My config:

No videos are saved just image files. Am I missing some config options?

Your raw_command does not output any video files.

Just curious, why are you using raw_command?

Currently I only have USB webcam and from what I found in other discussions on GH this seems to be the only way to set it up? In general I'm gonna buy a proper camera, but wanted to play with the software first.

Is the solution here to use substreams like here? https://viseron.netlify.app/components-explorer/components/ffmpeg#raw-command-with-substream

Well, that didn't work. But I was able to set up mediamtx to generate RTSP stream and then Viseron worked fine.

Good solution! In order to get it to work without mediamtx you would need to figure out the entire ffmpeg command. If you enable debug logging the command will be printed out, and you can try to adapt it to use the webcam as a source instead
