Althrough MethodDefinitionInTask cop does a good job ignoring method definitions in classes/modules, it does not detect Data methods:

# some rake task

Data.define(:data) do
  def some_helper_method # Rake/MethodDefinitionInTask complains here
    data.do_something
  end
end
