Can support for the Arabic language be added ? There is an increasing number of Arab native-speaking programmers, and it would prove of great help and use to them.

I am fully willing to start, contribute, and work on that and make it happen 😄

@Aboodchei Hi, I'm also interested in the Arabic language. But I'm not familiar with right to left language like Arabic.

Can you start to its support in your repository? and send pull request?

@Aboodchei Great to hear from you. We do welcome new translations (and there have been some - ru and vi- in the last couple of years). Yet due to past experiences I'm not inclined to do any preparatory setup and coordination work until it seems clear that there is a team of motivated and reliable contributors. Abandoned and out-of-date translations are worse than having none at all. And with a single responsible person this happens very easily.

See #699 (milestones) to get an impression of the work involved initially with the static content, and https://www.ruby-lang.org/admin/translation-status to get an impression of the on-going work related to news post translations (which sadly shows that many of the translations are not kept up-to-date anymore); see also the discussion in #670.
