Planning migrate to S3 (Scaleway)

Right now I have my backup at hetzner, using SFTP and a 6 weekly snashots (just in case something corrupts my repo).

I am planing using S3 with cold-storage; but I have some concerns:

• If using cold storage, should prune and repack be tuned? Completely disabled?
• How could achieve a "snapshot like" functionality in case my repo gets corrupted (ransomware, ...) and I want to use "repo from 2 weeks ago"?
• How should I configure my new repo to be able to copy my existing repo? (~3Tb).
• Should it be cheaper than hetzner-box? My "restore rate" has been ~500Gb per year.
