cold storage - any means to restore hot part of it?

I have started planning cold storage backup with rustic. Overall so far it all looks very mature and working flawlessly.

However planning for some disaster recovery I could not find any information whether there is any way to restore hot repo in case it gets deleted.

I know that worst case I could restore full cold repo which contains complete repository but I was hoping that there is some better way maybe.

Thank you for your answer. Good to know that it is in the pipeline.

Ideally I would like to treat hot storage as something I can lose without any consequences. Almost transient cache like only.

And put all extra effort in preserving my data in cold repo only (versioning and locking) as it contains all data anyway.

The main reason is to keep everything as simple as possible. Less moving parts - less chances for problems:)
