inconsistent style of flyout file listing versus fullscreen listing

One alternatives between white and light grey. The other is lightgrey everywhere with darker grey to indicate selected. These are just completely inconsistent in multiple ways, but they need to be consistent. We have to drive on the same side of the road.

Like in the past, I'm against the zebra look for lists. IMHO marking even/odd line numbers does not convey any useful information.

• Antd Lists plain homogeneous entries, slight gray delimiter line
• Gmail, default theme: like AntD, white with slight gray delimiter, background color is used to mark read/unread status (which is IMHO a more useful information than even/odd). To aid looking up information, hover highlights the row under the cursor.
• Windows 11 Explorer: https://www.windowslatest.com/2022/04/12/windows-11-file-explorers-new-feature-is-deeper-onedrive-integration/ (I don't have windows, but it looks like no zebra and it's essentially the same as in my Gnome)
• Gnome/Linux: no stripes, no lines, looks similar to windows above
  
• Google search results: also some kind of list, with complex entries, but no zebra look as well
• Android Material design lists similar to AntD
• Apple iOS Lists like AntD

The question also depends if it is a static paper printout or on a screen with dynamic elements. E.g. hovering/clicking to highlight a row of interest is a quick way to look up the other fields of interest increases speed and accuracy. e.g. gmail does that with hover, and in my gnome explorer a single click.

After discussing this together, we decided that this is the best option: "Gmail, default theme: like AntD, white with slight gray delimiter, background color is used to mark read/unread status (which is IMHO a more useful information than even/odd). There is some inconsistency in gmail between narrow lists and wide lists, but that's OK and justified by differing needs, depending on the amount of horizontal space.
