I think an off-canvas menu implementation would be awesome. However, it would be outside the scope of what I envision for this project. I can imagine this being a very cool plugin that would specifically work with Bootstrap CSS (to reduce the amount of custom CSS that would need to be written).

If you're looking for a commercial solution, while I've not tried the SuperSide Me plugin with this theme, I do think very highly of the developer and if I needed an off-canvas menu - that's were I'd start.
