StdOut Software License

Copyright © 2026 Seaynic Labs LLC. All rights reserved.

License Agreement

StdOut is proprietary software licensed to customers who purchase a valid license key.

Grant of License

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Seaynic Labs LLC ("Licensor") grants you ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

  1. Install and Use StdOut on unlimited self-hosted servers
  2. Create unlimited incidents and runbooks
  3. Discover and monitor unlimited infrastructure
  4. Receive software updates for the lifetime of the product

License Key

  • One license key = unlimited self-hosted installations
  • License keys are validated on activation (requires one-time internet access)
  • Offline/air-gapped mode available after initial activation
  • License keys are non-transferable between organizations

Restrictions

You may not:

  1. Redistribute StdOut or its Docker images to third parties
  2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  3. Resell or sublicense StdOut to other parties
  4. Remove or modify copyright notices or license information
  5. Use the software to provide SaaS or hosted services to others

Ownership

  • StdOut software remains the exclusive property of Seaynic Labs LLC
  • This license does not grant any ownership rights
  • All intellectual property rights are reserved by Licensor

Updates and Support

Included with License:

  • ✅ Lifetime software updates
  • ✅ Email support (support@seayniclabs.com)
  • ✅ Documentation access
  • ✅ Bug fixes and security patches

Not Included:

  • ❌ Custom development or modifications
  • ❌ On-site support or training
  • ❌ Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Air-Gapped Deployment

  • StdOut may be deployed in completely offline environments
  • Initial license activation requires one-time internet access
  • Pre-activated databases may be transferred to air-gapped systems
  • All features work offline after activation

Privacy and Data

  • No telemetry - StdOut does not collect usage data
  • No external connections - All data stays on your infrastructure
  • You own your data - Database and incidents remain under your control
  • Licensor has no access to your data

Warranty Disclaimer

StdOut is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Seaynic Labs LLC be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Lost profits, revenue, or data
  • Business interruption
  • Damages exceeding the license fee paid

Termination

This license is effective until terminated.

Automatic Termination if you:

  • Violate any terms of this Agreement
  • Fail to pay the license fee
  • Redistribute the software

Upon termination:

  • You must cease all use of StdOut
  • Uninstall all copies of the software
  • Your data remains accessible for export

Refund Policy

  • 30-day money-back guarantee from purchase date
  • Refunds issued via original payment method
  • Contact support@seayniclabs.com for refund requests

Compliance

Licensee is responsible for:

  • Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Proper use of the software
  • Security of their infrastructure

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Licensor and Licensee concerning StdOut and supersedes all prior agreements.

This documentation (stdout-docs repository) is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

You may:

You must:

  • ✅ Give appropriate credit
  • ✅ Indicate if changes were made

You may not:

  • ❌ Use documentation for commercial purposes

By purchasing and using StdOut, you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement.
