Trivalent is unable to download from gimp.org or obsproject.com #702

Description

@ipo0x

If you try to download a version of GIMP via https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ using Trivalent with JavaScript enabled, you are redirected to https://www.gimp.org/downloads/thanks.html, but the download never starts.
The same applies if you try to download a version of OBS via https://obsproject.com/download with JavaScript enabled; here too, you are redirected to https://obsproject.com/welcome and the download fails to start.

However, if JavaScript is disabled in both cases, the download starts when you click on the first available download option. Here, the behaviour is identical to, for example, Firefox with NoScript when all elements are blocked.

With Vanadium on GrapheneOS, the problem described above does not occur. Here, the redirect takes place as expected, followed by the pop-up with the download.

I have been noticing the download issue with Trivalent for a few months now, i. e. with the current and some older versions. I cannot say whether or when it ever worked. As a test, a new Trivalent profile was created, and the ~/.config/trivalent directory, including its contents, was deleted. Adding the relevant domains under chrome://settings/content/popups did not resolve the issue either.
