Activate or deactive group of extensions failed on Firefox 147

Summary

Using the Extensity Firefox extension, activate or deactivate group of extensions failed with security error in logs. This screenshot below shows this challenge from the front end.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Using either Firefox 147 Flatpak from https://flathub.org/en/apps/search?q=firefox
   or my favorite LibreWolf 147 Flatpak from https://flathub.org/en/apps/io.gitlab.librewolf-community

2. Install Extensity for Firefox from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/extensity_1/

3. Create a new Profile

4. Try activating or deactivating the Profile you created above. This failed. The state of the extension(s) does not change. This is the challenge. The needed end result is that the extensions in the Profile are either activated or deactivated.

What I tried that did not work

• Restart Firefox

• Deactivate all other extensions that might interfere with Extensity. Then try again.

• Allow all possible permissions for the Extensity extension at both about:addons and moz-extension://e9b21869-d90e-4bd5-9b76-34cce374f213/options.html

• Search this Firefox configuration page about:config. I searched for a permission(s) that would allow Extensity to deactivate or activate other extensions. But found none.

• Contact Sanopetchy at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/19606396/ But there is not contact information. This is suspicious.
