Bug description
When opening Signal, it shows a "Find contacts on Signal" card at the bottom. If I press "Allow Access", it opens a pop-up saying "Allow access to Contacts", describing how to do it in the settings and with a "Go to Settings" button at the bottom.
When I click the button, it opens the Settings application, on the Signal page, but it doesn't show the "Contacts" option, so it doesn't allow me to give it access.
Other applications asked for the permission first with a pop-up, while Signal is just directing me to the settings app while it did not ask for the permission in the first place.
Steps to reproduce
- Have Signal installed with access to your contacts
- in your settings application, go to "General" > "Transfer or Reset iPhone".
- Press the "Reset" button and select "Reset Location & Privacy".
- Open the Signal application, there will be the "Find contacts on Signal" card at the bottom.
- Press "Allow Access" on the card
Actual result: Signal explains how to enable contacts access in the Settings application, but "Contacts" is not in the settings yet because Signal didn't ask for the permission.
Expected result: A pop-up should happen asking if I want to give access to my contacts.
