Patch to slint in cargo.toml but found a build error

When I Patch to slint in my project's Cargo.toml but found a build error.

Error: found a virtual manifest at `/path/to/your/slint/Cargo.toml` instead of a package manifest.

edition = "2021"
build = "build.rs"

[patch.crates-io]
slint = { path = "/path/to/your/crates/slint" }

The error is because you are using a workspace. And the [patch.crates-io] can only be placed in the top-level Cargo.toml that declares the workspace.
