Have you checked if that folder is indeed under same path in your node_modules? Also tell me if you are using only Solidity extension from nomic labs or the one from Juan Blanco or maybe both? If you are mixing those you should have enabled only 1 extension at time, in this case the one from nomic labs.

Yes iam using the one by nomic labs.And no strangely there is no file called AggregatorV3Interface.sol";.I checked tht too as some on stack-overflow suggested to use node_modules/@chainlink /contracts/src/v0.8/interfaces /AggregatorV3Interface.sol";

I believe it is not because you didnt add node_modules to the path. The thing is that you might be using other version of @chainlink as they were mixing paths for a lot of packages, so just kindly match version of this package to course version, delete node_modules and reinstall this package then check if pathing is correct now. You may also delete yarn lock file as it saves old versions and will mess up your reinstall.

If you do not know how to check course version just check course yarn lock and search for @chainlink, you will see version that Patrick used in course and you can reinstall with same using @x.x.x :)

I see you should be using below in your package.json:
"@chainlink/contracts": "^0.3.1",
