About hardhat

Since patrick has mentioned that this repo is no longer actively maintained as there have been changes in Hardhat tooling. But I am at lesson 7 already and don't want to shift to the new content because of all the time I spent doing till here. So will it be helpful if I continue in hardhat or do I really need to change to the new content to benfit myself?
