Adding heuristics to nodes

In 1-24 Office Hours we touched on the difficulty of adding heuristics to nodes. Inviting @decentralion and @wchargin to elaborate/document this issue in more detail.

You will find dictionaries containing the values for the current heuristic rule as well as a method for mapping them into the graph data. We could think about how to change this so that it is easier to modify the heuristics to see what impact they have.
