[Feature Request] Show tag name in local branches

Currently when selecting a commit that has a tag, local branches section still shows that I am in detached at commit X

It would be nice if it can just show the tag directly. Or even show both tag and the commit hash such as below

v1.3.4 (8043677)

This is the output of the git branch command itself. It is intended to remind the user that the current HEAD is in a detached state. New commits created in this state may not be pushed correctly.

I am aware of that, but from the below picture, you can see the terminal and most of the IDEs i know can show the actual tag you're currently sitting on.

My issue is that i cannot know if i am sitting on a tag or an actual detached commit. I have to do additional clicks to double check i am on the proper tag

If adding the tag name isnt possible then maybe some indicator can be added to differentiate between tag and commit. Maybe something like this:

Basically only hardcode some TAG text and not the actual name of the tag. Or maybe make that checkmark icon blue or a different color, to know that is a tag.

you are not in a detached commit, but a detached HEAD, meaning your HEAD (your current state knowledge) is not pointing to anything that can be edited.
even when checking out a tag, you HEAD will be pointing to the commit and it is important to know this state.

Tags are references to commit, so you can never really be on a tag. For example if there are multiple tags on one commit, HEAD will still point to the commit and what tag do you show then? it might indeed be useful to know if you are on the commit of a certain tag (that's why checking out a tag will try to create a branch with the tag name for you!) but knowing you are in a detached head state is the important part of the information because it means you should not be making changes without first creating a branch.

any solution that preserves this important information is fine by me.

I don't plan to change the current display method. Because the LOCAL BRANCHES tree shows a list of local branches, not other information. Even the relevant information of a branch should be displayed in its ToolTip (but this still requires the user to move the mouse over it for secondary confirmation, which is no different from directly clicking to view its position in the graph).
