This was specifically added for orbis when a dkg happened so a user could track a dkg after they gave control of the flow up to the Orbis nodes. In fact this isn't needed anymore in the Orbis module with the new DKG flow, but I digress. This could be useful in other cases maybe? but if not then I don't need it anymore and am happy to remove
