[Bug]: 1Password only works after logout and logging back in

What happened?

On registering a user and trying to create a key, the browser tries to use the Apple Passkey system, only by logging out and then logging back in can a user create a Pass key with 1Password. Video shows this happening:

I appreciate this is probably more a problem with 1Password than with the Passkey library but I felt it would be useful to have this here to see if there's anything that can be done to improve 1Password compatibility as a popular option for storing passwords. That said I've never experienced this problem on any other websites, it's also possible this is a problem with running the application on Localhost etc. where HTTPS might behave differently.

How to reproduce the bug

Run the application and have the 1Password chrome extension installed.

1. create a user
2. try to create a key within first creation of the user
3. you should see the Apple passkey prompt instead of the 1Password, 'save keypass' prompt.

Your first attempt, you seem to cancel out of the prompts in the browser.

Is it purely on the first creation of the user that the issue occurs?

Do you have any custom logic firing within your registration/creation form?

@lrljoe yes, I cancel out of that prompt because it seems to ignore 1Password and use the Apple Passkey system instead.

Yes, it only happens on creating a user. When I log out and log back in it's fine. It might just be that I need to add a password prompt to the PassKey creator so it forces use of 1Password.

So you register a new user, and you're logged in, you go to the passkeys route.

You try to create a passkey, can you paste any browser console errors that occur please?

What happens if you refresh the page at that point, does it then create the passkey successfully?
