oran-sc RIC handover using two B210s

I am trying to test oran-sc RIC handover using two B210s. My set up is in the following figure

RIC is a docker stack running on machine 1 and I enable this line on the docker-compose.yaml

I verified that the handover can be done using ho command in CU.

All of command give me no feedback and no handover. I am not sure about amf_ue_ngap_id parameter and how to determine e2_node_id and corresponding cell_id? Will this set up with two B210s ever work? Any idea please.

It can be observed that for CU, ranNamelist is gnbc_001_001_00019b_0 and for DU1 and DU2, ranNamelist are

One last thing is, how can I get AMF UE NGAP ID programmatically? Now I have to check cu.log for the current value of AMF UE NGAP ID ? And, what is the UE F1AP ID and how can I get that value?

BTW, I can also comfirm that PRB control RIC now is working perfectly. I can even check what the number of assigned PRB of the UE since now the monitoring support that. Thank you.

One question, in this thread 1195 several people comment that they also have problems to deploy the handover mechanism using two b210 and that they can't find the problem (me among them haha). Does the addition of oran-sc-RIC achieve any kind of improvement over the above mentioned thread?

Hi, I think the problem with two B210 is just measuring handover. For forcing and RIC handover It works just fine. In measuring handover, UE does not see neighbor cell so it cannot do hangover. However, It does switch cell due to low signal level from the previous cell but It does not perform handover as you can seen from the log that people pose here. it just said "other reasons" I think. when I enable measuring handover and using RIC to do the handover, I switch to the cell as the RIC command but for a while, it switches back to the previous due to signal level.

I'm trying to reproduce your experience but my RIC handover is not switching to the neighbor DU but the answer of the command tell that it is correct.
Have you modified your xApp ?
or can you share with your files and which version of srsRAN and oran-sc-ric are you using ?
