In the printing dialogue, there is an option "Print to file" which most people would assume just enables printing to some PDF file. It use it to extract pages. Unfortunately, there is no discernible way of finding out the file location. The file seems to get "printed" but there is no feedback on the location.
The solution would be to enable getting/setting the file location. Alternatively, leave "print to file" as a separate printer.
My version is v3.3.3 on Windows.

In any windows Application if you are using a valid print to file It will prompt for the filename like this
However windows does not always ask where for some drivers but that is outside of SumatraPDFs control
In many case it may simply go direct to the Physical printer file internal file store as a valid print !
Here sent to a Fax it is the Fax application determines the TIFF filename and storage location
