Ranger Keybinds for Yazi

Is there ready made ranger keybinds for yazi to ease transition? I don't want to go through the learning phase again.

If there isn't I guess I will do it myself, but don't wanna duplicate any effort if it is already made. 😅

I don't know, but I suspect there is since a lot of Yazi users used to be Ranger users.

One possible way is to input Yazi's documentation and the preset keymap.toml into Claude, and let it generate the corresponding Ranger-style config.

@theniceboy introduced this really interesting trick in his video (Chinese).

Try mine. There are a couple of keys I changed.

• Rename is r instead of F2.
  _ Open_with use "Shift+o" instead of r.
• Or tag with t and `, quick tag instead of t
• Swap v for visual mode with V select all
• u to change toggle UI component instead of z
• chmod commands is also there but I personally never use them, so I commented them (Line 178)
• linemode also changed from M to u
• line 93 yank, I use wl-copy (wayland - linux only), u can get rid of it if you want.
• Added I to hide previewer instead of rename
• g+... commands is lacking, since I only add which I use the most.

You should also use the same set of plugins + init.lua.
