Can you provide more details to clarify the type of information you're looking to store?

Is it metadata about the PipelineRun execution or data such as build artifacts produced by your tasks? Examples may help.

I need to store the data shown on Tekton Dashboard for example
All build history

Tekton Results is the supported approach in that case.
However, integration with Tekton Dashboard is not yet available and is being tracked in tektoncd/results#82
